The St. Michael the Archangel Parish Church is a self-funded Charity and we rely on the generosity of the faithful to pay for it’s operating costs. We are inviting you to consider making a donation to our Parish via regular standing order with your bank, please send it via:

Please use your family name as the reference. Please remember that this donation only covers your weekly offering to our Parish and will be counted for your Gift Aid, it does not include second collections, Christmas or Easter offering to the Clergy. If you are able to make a one-off donation, please also send a short email so that we can acknowledge your support. If you cannot Gift Aid, you may still make your donation to our Parish in this way if you wish to do so.
‘Gift Aid – the good way to give to your Church’
Gift Aid is an arrangement that allows charities, including churches, to reclaim tax on donations made by a taxpayer. It covers weekly giving as well as one-off donations.
This means that every donation you make is worth 25% more to your Church, at no cost to you.
For example, if you donate £20, we will be able to reclaim £5 on your donation from the government, meaning the Church gets £20 from you and £5 from the government.
If you’re already paying tax on earnings, pensions or income/capital gains from investments, the government simply gives back to the Church some of the tax you have already paid. We don’t need to know your personal details such as income, nor your National Insurance number. Your donations will qualify as long as they’re not more than 4 times the tax you have paid in that tax year (6 April to 5 April).
All you have to do is complete a simple form called a Gift Aid Declaration with your name and address. Please kindly leave your gift aid declaration form with Fr. Philip or send via the church email: stmichaelshuntingdon@yahoo.com.

Contactless and Online Donations Made Easy for Churches
Dona is a trading name of Regium Consulting Limited, a Christian company registered in England and Wales with company number 09756497.
We also now have a contactless terminal in the porch for you to give your collection or any other donation to our Parish by card. The terminal will be able to deal with your Gift Aid if you wish.
Those with Standing Orders do not need to use it for your regular donations, but may find it helpful for the second collections and other gifts not covered by standing order.
