Many thanks for your phone calls and emails, I am fine and in good health and doing my best to stay at home and keep safe. I am passing my time with reading, gardening and odd bits of cooking, all of which I enjoy, as well as keeping in touch with you through phone calls to our most vulnerable parishioners, and emails to many of you. I am also keeping you all in my prayers at this time.
Work in the garden
These two photos show one of the developments in the garden. I laid out a new flower bed next to the garden shed, before it had just the hydrangea and lots of weeds. So I dug out the weeds and turned over the soil to prepare it for new plants, which I hope will arrive in the next few days. You can see the before picture below.
Now this is what has been achieved and I hope to have it full of colour for the summer, so that we can all enjoy it when we can meet for Mass again and a BBQ and cream tea in the garden. Looking forward to that!!
