During the season of Lent, please pray for the following intentions: candidates preparing for the Sacrament of Easter; the needy and hungry of the world; Women’s World Day of Prayer, penitents and wanderers and all victims of sexual abuse.
World Day of Prayer is presented by the women of Zimbabwe on the theme “Rise! Take up you mat and walk!”. The local service is at Trinity Free Church, Buttsgrove Way, Huntingdon at 19:00. All are welcome.
Lent Fast Day is kept on Friday 6th March. You are invited to have a simple meal and donate the saving to CAFOD. Gift Aid envelopes are t the back of the Church for the collection next weekend.
Holy Land Pilgrimage with March and surrounding parishes, 15th – 22nd March 2021. If you are interested there is a presentation evening on Thursday 26th March at St. Peter’s Church in March at 19:00. Details on both boards.
Lent Quiet Day on Saturday 21st March at the Margaret Beaufort Institute, 12 Grange Road, Cambridge.
